Factsheet Privacy Impact Assessment

In January 2012, the European Commission published a draft proposal for a new European Privacy Regulation. This Regulation will most likely enter into force in 2016 and will have a great impact on organisations, governments and consumers.

The proposed Regulation will require organisations to perform a Privacy Impact Assessment for new services, products or applications.
