Developing a Privacy Program Framework: how to manage privacy within your organization

Privacy officers, privacy managers, compliance officers, risk managers, information security, auditing professionals and many others have a responsibility to ensure their organization is compliant with data protection laws and follows its privacy policy.

To successfully manage privacy within an organization privacy professionals are required to take into account not only the organization’s legal framework, but to create a company privacy vision and strategy, to structure a privacy team, to measure performance and to develop and implement a privacy program framework.

Managing privacy within an organization is not a one time effort. It requires continuous attention to establish and maintain the pursued level of privacy governance within the ever changing landscape of the privacy legal and stakeholder framework.
