Director Legal & Compliance

Considerati Legal & Compliance advises organisations on privacy, AI and data-related legislation. With more than 15 years of experience, we help our clients navigate technology and innovation responsibly by offering pragmatic solutions that are grounded in deep knowledge of technology and legal requirements. This is a role for a senior legal advisor eager to combine substance, business acumen and thought leadership. 

Your impact 

As Director Legal & Compliance, you are an important face of Considerati in the market. You engage confidently at every level and are sought out by C-level stakeholders as a credible, trusted advisor. You lead strategic conversations on privacy, data, AI and digital regulation, translating complex organisational challenges into clear, business-ready advice. 

Internally, you are a trusted expert and connector. With strong judgement and a sharp eye for detail, you quickly identify the core issue, link the relevant legal, commercial and organisational elements, and turn complexity into precise, consistent advice. You zoom out before choosing an approach, drawing on your experience, client knowledge and understanding of market developments. 

You take ownership from pipeline development to high quality performance in projects. With your entrepreneurial mindset and clear ambition to support Considerati’s positioning as thought leader in its market, you build strong client relationships, create new opportunities and develop propositions and partnerships that strengthen our market position.

Key responsibilities 

• Managing key accounts and driving renewals and new business development. 

• Leading strategic C-level conversations on complex legal, data, AI and digitalisation matters.

• Owning pipeline discipline, targets, follow-up and results. 

• Translating regulation, market developments and client challenges into strong propositions and business opportunities. 

• Contributing to senior-team decision-making and preparing sharp, well-founded advice for the Managing Director. 

• Representing Considerati strategically in the market and strengthening our visibility and positioning. 

• Building commercial capability by coaching senior colleagues on networking, visibility, stakeholder engagement and client development. 

What you bring 

• Master’s degree in Dutch law. 

• 15+ years of relevant experience in law, consultancy, business or government. 

• Strong expertise in privacy, IT law, AI, data and/or digital regulation. 

• Credibility as a strategic adviser to senior stakeholders, including C-level.

• A precise, analytical and decisive working style, with the ability to create direction in complex situations. 

• Strong business acumen, taking ownership and focused on long-term client relationships.  

• Excellent command of Dutch and English. 

• A relevant network is a strong advantage.
