About Paulien
As a senior consultant at Considerati, Paulien is co-responsible for driving and implementing public affairs strategies for internet and technology companies that get stuck in outdated legislation or challenge existing frameworks with new innovations.
In recent years, she has gained experience with the regulation of online content, undesirable online behaviour and the relationships between platforms, consumers and entrepreneurs (policy tracks such as DSA, NDFC and P2B). Paulien is interested in internet governance issues, and activating and bringing together stakeholders in a broad sense. Paulien works with both the largest and the smallest (also not-for-profit) organisations; the differences show her exactly where in the ecosystem the opportunities for her clients lie and in the similarities she knows how to create win-win situations.
Paulien studied political science and public administration. She completed her master's with a thesis on stakeholder communication at Tata Steel in Velsen. Paulien previously worked at another public affairs firm and also enjoyed an internship at Considerati before.
