Jonathan works as a senior legal consultant and team lead within Considerati’s legal team and advises both private and public organisations on privacy and data protection. He provides advice on how to achieve compliance with the obligations stemming from privacy and related legislation. Jonathan also advices organisations on setting up or improving their privacy governance programs. He has experience with advising organisations on cross-border data processing, the operational set-up of (international) processing of data within organisations, the structuring and mapping of processing activities, relations with third-parties but also with the drafting of policy and the performance of GDPR compliance checks and implementation tracks. Next to this, Jonathan forms part of DPO teams at various (international) organisations.
Jonathan is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Dutch Association of Data Protection Officers (NGFG). He has obtained an LL.M. in International and European Law with a specialisation in EU law.
