About Gijs
As a Legal Consultant, Gijs is involved with various organisations in both the commercial and public sector. For these parties, he performs a wide range of services, such as conducting DPIAs, setting up processing registries and answering a variety of privacy and AI related questions. Gijs knows how to express his passion for everything related to the digital domain in his driven and critical approach to legal issues.
Before joining Considerati, Gijs obtained his master's degree in Information Law at the University of Amsterdam and held various positions at law firms. In his thesis, he examined the extent to which the transparency and accuracy obligations for high-risk AI systems clash under the AI Act. In addition, Gijs holds the CIPP/e certificate.
