Ton Wagemans LLM - managing partner
Ton is a partner and founder of Considerati. Ton was trained as a lawyer and specialised in policy development, public affairs and public-private partnerships. From 2000 to 2004, he worked for ECP.nl (the Netherlands platform for the information society) and was responsible for developing a legal framework for electronic commerce and managing the platform's external relations. He was also a member of the European Commission's e-Confidence Core Group. In addition, Ton was a researcher on e-business self regulation at Oxford University and has published various articles on the subject.

Bart W. Schermer PhD LLM - partner
Bart is a partner and co-founder of Considerati. He also lectures on IT and internet law for the eLaw research group at Leiden University and is a fellow at the E.M. Meijers Institute for Legal Studies. He is co-founder and editor of the Dutch Journal of Internet Law (Tijdschrift voor Internetrecht) and a member of the Cybercrime expert group for the Court of Appeal in The Hague.

Martine Wubben LLM MA - consultant
Martine is a graduate of the University of Amsterdam with a Master's degree in Information Law. She has a particular affinity with copyright, Internet and privacy law. Martine has experience in complex Internet regulation issues, government relations and multi-stakeholder environments. Martine worked at law firm Solv in Amsterdam and was board member and legal advisor to the Clinic Foundation, a legal aid centre specializing in Internet and IP law. Having obtained a second Master's degree in Cultural Studies, Martine has extensive knowledge of the media world and the cultural sector. She is co-author of the review study 'Facts to Share: Digital content distribution in the Netherlands'.

Peter van der Veen LLM - consultant
Peter studied international and European law at the University of Groningen. He wrote his thesis on the harmonisation of intellectual property law in the EU. During his studies he worked as a paralegal at the Brussels office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton LLP. After graduation, Peter joined the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and worked on security and public safety policy. For the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked as a legal adviser at the Netherlands embassy to the United Nations in New York and as a member of the delegation to the General Assembly. In 2009 Peter shifted his focus to IT and telecom policy. Peter brings experience in law, policy, security and IT to the Considerati team.

Kim Crijns LLM - consultant
Kim studied law at the University of Groningen, specialising in Civil Law. She wrote her Master's thesis on the legality of downloading from illegal sources in the Netherlands. Kim worked as a student-assistant at the department of Intellectual Property (IP) at the University of Groningen. During her studies she contributed to a Dutch book on unfair trade practices and misleading and comparative advertising. She has worked as an IP attorney at the law firm Solv in Amsterdam, specialising in copyright, trade mark and design law, and misleading and comparative advertising. Kim is a member of the board of the Clinic Foundation.
